Privacy is drawn with light

A villa client's first request is almost always the same: let no one see me. The easy answer is a high wall; the hard and correct answer is the plan.
Notre Villas in Beylikdüzü comprises three units in 1,100 m². What separates them is not a wall but courtyards, levels, and window angles turned away from one another. Each unit opens to its own garden and its own sky.
Light works here as a divider: the courtyard slipped between two units both draws the boundary and carries daylight into the main rooms on either side. A wall would have darkened both.
During permitting, this composition revealed one more advantage: as the mass shrinks, so do the neighbours' objections. Drawing privacy with light is a legally quiet path, too.
